Rich and indulgent oats mixed with cocoa powder, peanut butter, and almond milk, garnished with banana slices.

Ingredients

80 g Rolled oats
2 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp Peanut butter
300 ml Almond milk
2 tbsp Maple syrup
1 medium Banana

Preparation Steps

  1. 1.Measure 80 grams of rolled oats and place them in a mixing bowl.
  2. 2.Take 2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder and sift it onto the oats to ensure a smooth consistency.
  3. 3.Scoop 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and set aside.
  4. 4.Measure out 300 millilitres of almond milk and keep it ready.
  5. 5.Pour 2 tablespoons of maple syrup into a small dish or directly with the oats.
  6. 6.Peel one medium banana and slice it into thin rounds, reserving them for garnish.

Instructions

  1. 1.Add the rolled oats to a large jar or container suitable for overnight refrigeration.
  2. 2.Mix the sifted cocoa powder into the oats for an even chocolate distribution.
  3. 3.Add the peanut butter to the oat mixture and stir gently to incorporate it; some lumps are fine as they could create bursts of flavour.
  4. 4.Pour the almond milk over the oats mixture, ensuring all ingredients are well submerged.
  5. 5.Sweeten the concoction evenly with the maple syrup, stirring to integrate.
  6. 6.Leave the jar covered or sealed and refrigerate overnight, allowing the oats to soak and flavours to develop.
  7. 7.Before serving, give the oats a quick stir or shake. Divide the mixture into two serving bowls.
  8. 8.Top each serving bowl with the sliced banana for added texture and sweetness. Serve cold and enjoy.
