Welcome to FoodiePrep, a service provided by Refactor Consulting Ltd (trading as "FoodiePrep"), registered in the United Kingdom. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our AI recipe and meal planning services, including any software provided as part of the Service (such as our mobile application or web application interface), accessible at www.foodieprep.ai (the "Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

3. Service Description

FoodiePrep offers AI-generated recipes and meal planning tools based on your personal preferences. Our Service allows you to customize recipes and plan meals tailored to your tastes and dietary requirements.

4. User Accounts

• Registration: To access our Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

5. Subscription and Pricing

• Free and Paid Plans: FoodiePrep offers both free and subscription-based plans.
• Billing Cycle: Subscription fees are billed either monthly or annually, depending on your chosen plan.
• Payment Terms: Payments are processed securely through different platforms depending on how you access our Service. Web payments are processed through Stripe, while mobile app payments are processed through RevenueCat (which handles iOS App Store and Google Play Store transactions). By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis through the applicable payment processor.
• Refund Policy: All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for any subscription fees paid.

6. User-Generated Content

While users cannot submit their own recipes or comments, any content generated using our AI tools is owned and moderated by FoodiePrep. We reserve the right to use, modify, and display this content as part of our Service.

7. Intellectual Property and Software License

• Ownership: All content, trademarks, and software (including the FoodiePrep mobile application and web application) on the Service, including the name "FoodiePrep," are the property of Refactor Consulting Ltd and are protected by intellectual property laws.

A. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, FoodiePrep grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to:

• Download, install, access, and use the FoodiePrep software (including any mobile application or web application interface) on a device that you own or control;
• Use the Service solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

B. License Restrictions

Except as expressly permitted in these Terms or by applicable law, you may not, and you will not permit others to:

• Reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works of, distribute, sell, lease, rent, sublicense, or make available to any third party the Service or any part thereof (including the software);
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code or underlying ideas or algorithms of the software;
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices (including copyright and trademark notices) on any part of the Service or software;
• Use the Service or software for any illegal purpose, or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law;
• Use the Service or software in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks, or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the Service;
• Use any automated system, including without limitation 'robots,' 'spiders,' or 'offline readers,' to access the Service in a manner that sends more request messages to the FoodiePrep servers than a human can reasonably produce in the same period by using a conventional on-line web browser (except that FoodiePrep grants the operators of public search engines revocable permission to use spiders to copy materials from the website for the sole purpose of and solely to the extent necessary for creating publicly available searchable indices of the materials, but not caches or archives of such materials);
• Circumvent, remove, alter, deactivate, degrade, or thwart any of the content protections in the Service or software.

Any use of the Service or software not expressly permitted by these Terms is a breach of these Terms and may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.

8. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Use automation tools or bots within the FoodiePrep website.
• Engage in any illegal activities, harassment, or spamming.
• Attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Service's functionality.
• Engage in any other conduct that FoodiePrep, in its sole discretion, deems to be abusive, harmful, fraudulent, or disruptive to the Service, its operations, or its users.

9. Third-Party Services

• Integrations: Our Service integrates with third-party services such as Supabase and Stripe.
• External Links: FoodiePrep may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these third-party sites.

10. Limitation of Liability

• User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that any recipes or ingredients generated by our Service are appropriate for your consumption, including but not limited to allergies and dietary restrictions.
• Disclaimer: FoodiePrep is not liable for any injury, illness, death, or other damages resulting from the preparation or consumption of recipes provided by our Service.
• No Warranties: The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is available here and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
